The Linton Area Pool Project is a British Register Charity, which was setup in 1997 to raise funds and construct a public swimming pool and amenities near the Linton Community Sports Centre and College covering Linton, Balsham, Abington,
Horseheath, West Wratting, Bartlow, Hadstock and other local villages in the surrounding areas.

Our target is to raise £1 Million within 5 years, with a new executive committee setup in mid-2007. We are planning many community events and also looking for local sponsorships to get us to our target.

Events

August 2007 - the summer party in the park was in the end a quiet occasion, however it was successful at raising approximately £100 for the charity through a BBQ and games in the park.

September 2007 - we have received a cheque for £500 from an employer of one of the steering committee where LAPP won the Community Award.
